Special Operations Team

Special Operations Team was designed to maximise revenue and to respond to immediate revenue problems on our network. This team has started in May 2008 with a dedicated team to detect fraudulent and ticketless travel as well as delivering high standards of customer service at all times. We will be working closely with British Transport Police to ensure more security and to tackle fare evasion and other public order or railway offences.

British Transport Police have worked with us to tackle many problems on our network and very often we sit down to chat on joint operations on helping FCC and BTP's own goals. The ideal goal is to provide more staff security by having police assist us at revenue blocks to ensure we ID the persistent offenders. Also to save any unsafe conflict if we see them again as we would hold their details. We NEVER expect or encourage you to do something which you feel unsafe to do so but simple walk away and report them from the held details we hold.
